JAPAN STUDY ABROAD

Come and experience 日本! Join us in the land of tradition and innovative technology, kimono and cosplay, samurai and sumo, anime and kabuki, sushi and shrines, festivals, and fantastic scenery. This program is based in Kyoto for five weeks, the cultural heart of Japan, rich in history and tradition. We’ll also travel to prominent locations around Japan for the last two weeks. 行きましょう!

JAPAN LEARNING AND TEACHING LANGUAGES

Japan is a nation of islands steeped in tradition and racing toward the future. Here, students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in everything Japanese, from gourmet food to cutting-edge technology, temperate rain and snow forests and Shinto ceremonies. The Learning and Teaching Languages (LTL) internship allows students to teach English while they learn Japanese. Locations are in Tokyo, Sapporo, Yazawa, Kyoto, and Fukuoka. By teaching English to Japanese, participants will learn the most effective way to teach and learn a foreign language.
